FROM LISTING TO INTERVIEW
ApplyLane is a privacy-first Chrome extension for saving job listings, tracking application progress, and following up on time.
PRIVACY POLICY
Effective July 13, 2026. This policy describes ApplyLane version 0.7.0.
At your request, ApplyLane stores job titles, company names, locations, salary text, job descriptions, source URLs, application statuses, notes, follow-up dates, and timestamps in chrome.storage.local.
ApplyLane accesses the active page only after you click the extension. It reads that page to extract job-listing information for your review. It does not collect general browsing history.
Cloud sync is off by default. If you enable it, your email address, authentication information, and saved job records are sent securely to ApplyLane's Supabase project for authentication, private backup, and cross-device synchronization. Your password is sent directly to Supabase and is not stored in the extension. A session token is kept locally.
Supabase processes synchronized data as ApplyLane's cloud infrastructure provider. ApplyLane has no advertising, analytics, remote code, or hosted AI and does not sell local or synchronized job information.
CSV, JSON, extraction-diagnostic, and Beta-feedback files are generated locally only when you request them. You decide whether and where those files are shared.
Follow-up reminders are calculated locally. A Chrome notification may contain a saved job title and company name.
You can edit or delete individual jobs, export or restore a backup, recover a password, clear local data, sign out while keeping local data, delete the complete cloud backup, or permanently delete the account without deleting the local board.
ApplyLane uses access to website content only to provide and improve its user-facing job-tracking features. It does not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising, creditworthiness, unrelated purposes, or human review, except when a user explicitly chooses to share a specific diagnostic for support.
